lens, becouse
of
its deep seoted
mounf.
lt is olso im-
porlont
for
conlinuous shooting with
the Nikon Electric
Motor Drive,
for

sequence of copying
work
or
in
phoiomicrogrophy.
To lock
lhe mirror in the
"rp"
position,
turn the button
(Fig.
32)
counterclockwise
untii
the block dot
on the
bufton
meets the
red dot
on
the
comerq
body. Wind the shutter
ond then shoot
(o
blonk
ex-
posure
is mode).
The
reflex mirror will move up, out of
the
woy,
ond wilf not return
to
position
ofter
the shutter
hos
operoted.
To return
the mirror to its
originoI
focusing ond
viewing
position,
lurn the button
clockwise until
the
block
dot
on
the button
meets
the
block
dot
on
the comero body.
This
should
be done
ofter.the shut-
ter is releosed.
Otherwise,
the mirror
wilt not return
io
position
until
the next exposure
is
mode.
Note
thot
if
the
knob
is turned ofter the
fitm odvonce lever
is wound up,
the
mirror
does
not return until
the
shutter
is releosed
(o
blonk
shot
is mode).
