H, the
fully-open meosur-
ing
method
should
be opplied
with slight
com-
pensolion
os
shown
by
the figures
in the chort.

only chonge the mox. oper-
ture setting
on
the
Finder
to
the figure
printed
in
block,
boldfoce
in
the
chort.
For
lenses
of slower
speed, however,
it
must
be
mode
by
decreosing
the
exposure volue
once
obtoined
by
meter
by
os mony
steps os
shown
by
the
double
line
numerols
in
the
chort.
For
exomple, when
using
the
lens
300
mm
F14.5
ond the
finder
screen
type
H2,
the
necessory
compensotion
will
be
I.5 steps.
Then,
provided
the
meter
setting
is
obtoined
with
the shutter
speed 11125
sec. ond
the operture
of
lens stopped-down
to
F/8,
chonge the shutter
speed
to

l25O
sec.
qnd
the operture
setting to
the
position

ond Flll,
or
with
the shutter
speed
unchonged,
set the operture
to
the
position
between
F/l

ond F116. When
rhe
reodiustment is
o whole number,
it con be
done
only
by
chonging the
shutter
speed.
For the combinotions
withl neither
fully-open
nor
stop-down method
cqn
be
employed.
Therefore, these
coses
permit
only
focusing
but
not
exposure meosurement.
