EXCHANGING
THE
IENS
To
remove
the
lens
from the
comero,
firsf
set the operture
to 16.
Holding
the
milled
ring,
depress
the lock
button
(Fig.
3a)
ond turn
the
lens
borrel clockwise
until
the
block
dot
on
the
milled ring
lines
up
with
the block
dot on the
co
mero
f ront.
To mount
the lens,
first
set the
operture
to l6
ond
bring
the slider
ot the bottom
of the Photomic-T
Finder
to
the
right
end. Line
up the
block dot
on the
lens
with the
block dot
on
the cqmero
body,
press
in
gently
ond
turn
the lens
counler-clockwise
until the lens
clicks
into
posi-
lion.
Cqution
O
When
o lens is
removed,
lhe
opening
in the
comero body should
not
be
exposed
to
direct
sunlight,
especiolly
with
the
comero
looded.
Protect the inside
of
lhe comero
by
using
o body
cop,
whenever
lhe
comero
is
corried
or
stored with the lens
removed.
O
When
the
lens
is
corried
seporotely,
proteci
it from domoge
ond dust
by
using
o cose
os
well os
front
ond reor
lens
cops.
O
When
using the
2l mm
F/4
ultro-wideongle
Nikkor
do
not
forget to
lock the
reflex-mirror
in lhe
"up"
position.
To
mount
the
lens, line
up the block dot
on
lhe lens
bose ring
wilh
lhe
white
dot
ond
then
the
white
dot wilh
the
block dot
on
the
comero.
Turn
only
the bose
ring counterclockwise
until
lhe
lens
clicks
into
position.
