6) Detach the retaining fixtures from the stage (see the photo).
Using a hexagonal wrench (4 mm), remove the red retaining fixtures from the two
locations on the X axis and the location on the Y axis on the back side of the stage. Be
careful not to apply excessive force to the stage when removing the retaining fixtures.
7) Remove the retaining fixtures from the Z-axis vertical mover (see the photo).
Place an appropriate cover over the top surface of the stage so that it is not scratched or
otherwise damaged by any bolts or retaining fixtures that fall or are accidentally dropped.
Using a hexagonal wrench (3 mm), remove the red retaining fixture located on the
bottom section of the vertical mover. Be careful not to apply excessive force to the
vertical mover or surrounding areas when removing the retaining fixture.
