Why Nilfisk-ALTO NEPTUNE 5 has inadequate water supply?
    • L
      Lisa HuffSep 14, 2025
If your Nilfisk-ALTO Pressure Washer has an inadequate water supply, it could be due to several reasons: * The water supply might be turned off. * The detergent tank might be empty; if so, fill it or set the detergent metering to „OFF“. * The pressure regulation on the safety control block or VarioPress-lance might be set to low water volume; if so, turn the twist grip on the safety control block or VarioPress-lance to a higher water/pressure volume. * The machine might be scaled. Ensure the required volume flow and pressure are within the specifications.

If your Nilfisk-ALTO Pressure Washer is running with pulsating pressure and making knocking noises, it is likely that the pump has drawn in air because the detergent tank is empty.
