4 Basic operations
• INSTALL THE SIM CARD
The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending, so
be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card.
Before installing the SIM card, always make sure that the phone is switched off and
that you have removed the cover and battery.
REMOVE THE BACK COVER
1 With the back of the phone facing you,
push the back cover release button.
2 Slide the back cover toward the top of
the phone to remove.
REMOVE THE BATTERY
3 Remove the battery by lifting it as shown.
Warning: Keep all SIM cards out of
reach of small children.
INSERT THE SIM CARD
4 To release the SIM card holder, gently
pull the locking clip of the card holder
and open it.
