3 To enter the user ID manually, select Enter ID manually, enter the user ID, and
select OK.
OR
To search for a user ID in the server of your service provider, select Search.
If one user ID is found it is automatically saved.
If multiple user IDs are found, scroll to the desired user ID, and select
Options > Save.
Note: To search for a user ID, you must be connected to the presence
service. See “Presence service” on page 77.
Save addresses and notes
To save an address or note, you need to add it to an existing entry (name).
1 At the start screen, press the Scroll down key, and scroll to the entry to which
you want to add an address or note.
2 With the entry highlighted, select Details > Options > Add detail > E-mail
address, Web address, Street address, or Note.
3 Enter the text for the note or address, and select OK.
CHANGE THE PRIMARY NUMBER
In a contact with more than one phone number, you can select which number
should be the primary number. When you highlight the contact in the contact list
and press the Talk key, the phone automatically dials the primary number.
1 At the start screen, press the Scroll down key, scroll to the entry you want to
change, and select Details.
2 Scroll to the number you want to set as default, and select Options > As
primary number.
SEARCH FOR AN ENTRY
1 At the start screen, press the Scroll down key to display the contents of
contacts.
2 Press the key which corresponds to the first letter of the name for which you
are performing a search.
