1 Add a new shared WEP key to the access
point, but don’t make it the active key yet:
2 Instruct all clients to add the new shared
WEP key to their list and make it the active
key immediately:
They will be able to transmit using the new
key, as the access point already knows
about it.
3 When all clients have been updated, switch
the access point to use the new key as its
active key.
At this point you can delete the old key values
from the access point.
