A special case – wireless client
A special case of a repeater function is where a
wireless LAN workstation forms part of LAN A.
The example in the figure below looks like a
wireless bridge, but actually there is a repeater
function in operation, because the wireless
laptop sends data across the first wireless link
and the data has to be re-transmitted to LAN B.
