5 At the Password: prompt, enter your
password. The factory default password is
default. It’s best to change this as soon as
possible – see Management functions on
page 79.
You’ll now see the following prompt in the
Telnet window:
CMD:
You’re now ready to enter commands.
Setting the time and date
You can use the commands time and date to
update the Nokia A032.
To set the time, enter the following:
time hh:mm:ss
where:
hh = hours (0 – 23)
mm = minutes (0 – 59)
ss = seconds (0 – 59)
To set the date, enter the following:
date mm/dd/yyyy
(or dd/mm/yyyy in Europe)
where:
mm = month (1 - 12)
dd = date (1 - 31)
yyyy = year
The effect of the commands is immediate and
the clock is updated with the new values. The
clock will continue to keep time regardless of
whether the unit is powered on or off.
