The external braking resistor is provided for energy
feedback, e.g. as occurs in pulsed drive units or lifting gear.
Here, it may be necessary to plan for the exact braking
resistor that is required (see adjacent figure).
Installation of an SK BRE4-… is not possible in combination
with the wall-mounting kit SK TIE4-WMK…
. In this case,
braking resistors of type SK BREW4-… are available as an
alternative, which can also be fitted to the frequency inverter.
