  First, ensure the power cord of your NordicTrack Treadmill is securely plugged into a grounded outlet, using a 3-conductor, 14-gauge cord no longer than 5 ft if an extension is needed. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with RCD-equipped outlets. Second, check that the key is properly inserted into the console. Lastly, examine the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, reset it by waiting five minutes before pressing it back in.

  The console of your NordicTrack Treadmill might be in display demo mode, which is designed for retail settings. To disable this mode, press and hold the Stop button for a few seconds. If the displays are still lit, refer to THE INFORMATION MODE on page 22 to turn off the demo mode.
