    Why does the walking belt slow down when I walk on my NordicTrack C80I NETL79815.0 Treadmill?

      If the walking belt slows when walked on, it might be overtightened, which can decrease performance and damage the belt. To fix this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. The walking belt is properly tightened when you can lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform.

      If the power turns off during use, try the following: * If the switch has tripped, wait five minutes, and then press the switch back in. * Make sure the power cord is plugged in. If it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and then plug it back in. * Remove the key from the console, and then reinsert it. * If the treadmill still won't run, please see the front cover of this manual.

      If the walking belt has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 of a turn. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn.
