      First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is connected to a grounded outlet. Use a single-outlet surge suppressor meeting the specifications. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI outlets. Also, verify that the key is fully inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the breaker has tripped; wait five minutes, then press the switch to reset it.

      To recalibrate the incline, insert the key into the console and press one of the incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level, recalibrating the incline system.

      If your treadmill turns off during use, first check the reset/off circuit breaker and reset it if tripped by waiting five minutes before pressing the switch. Next, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, try removing and reinserting the key from the console.

      If the walking belt is off-center, unplug the treadmill and remove the key. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it has shifted right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug the treadmill back in, insert the key, and run it for a few minutes, repeating until centered. If the belt slips, unplug the treadmill and remove the key. Tighten both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt should be tight enough to lift each edge 3–4 inches. Plug the treadmill back in, insert the key, and walk on it carefully for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.

      The walking belt might slow down if you're not using a compatible surge suppressor. Use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the specifications. Also, an overtightened walking belt can decrease performance. To correct this, unplug the treadmill and remove the key. Use an allen wrench to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 turn. The belt should be tight enough to lift each edge 3–4 inches. Plug the treadmill back in, insert the key, and run it for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.
