If your NordicTrack Treadmill's power turns off during use, try these steps: First, check the reset/off circuit breaker. How to fix a NordicTrack Treadmill that does not turn on?
    • B
      Benjamin MendozaAug 4, 2025
If your NordicTrack Treadmill doesn't turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the specifications. Note that the treadmill is not compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, ensure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset it, wait five minutes, then press the switch back in.

If the incline of your NordicTrack Treadmill isn't changing correctly, put the key in the console and press an Incline button. While the incline is changing, take the key out. Wait a few seconds, then put the key back in. The treadmill will automatically go to the highest incline and then back to the lowest. This will reset the incline system.

    • J
      joyce16Aug 14, 2025
If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill is off-center: * First, remove the key and unplug the power cord. * If the belt has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 of a turn. * If it has shifted to the right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Be careful not to overtighten the belt. If the walking belt slips: * Remove the key and unplug the power cord. * Use the hex key to turn both rear roller bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the belt is properly adjusted.
