Tank Capacity.
The weight of adhesive that a tank can hold when it
is filled to the top flange. The measurement is based upon an
adhesive with a specific gravity of 1 .O. See definition of Tank Volume.
Tank Volume.
The volume that the tank can hold when it is filled to
the top flange. The displacement of the pump is taken into account in
this measurement. The usable volume will be somewhat less since
Nordson recommends that the tank be filled no more than one inch
from the top.
Thermoplastic Material. A material which is solid at room
temperature, becomes soft when heated, and returns to solid form
upon cooling.
