Possible Reason
Charred material from tank or hose
lodged in gun nozzle
To check:
(a) Relieve system pressure (pump
air off, trigger all guns, open manifold
drain)
(b) Remove gun nozzles, close drain
valve
(c) Gradually increase pump air
pressure while triggering gun
(d) Note if adhesive flows from gun
module
Air valve is binding
Fork has slipped out of position
Fork installed upside down
Fork is bent or otherwise damaged
Magnet assembly fouled
Magnet assembly damaged
Bumper area fouled
Corrective Action
If yes, clean gun nozzle
If no, go to Automatic Gun Fails to
Deposit When Triggered
Disassemble and clean
Check position of fork
Check that the side stamped “UP”
faces the air motor
Replace the fork
Remove the actuator can, clean the
inside of the can and magnet
assembly, then reassemble
Replace the magnet assembly
Clean or replace if necessary
Clean the air motor
Clean the hydraulic section
Replace piston seals
Replace u-cup seal
Replace o-ring
Replace o-rings
