Electrically testing the pump

1. Remove the pump enclosure.
2. Disconnect and remove electrical power from the applicator.
3. Unplug the solenoid from the wiring harness.

WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. Failure to observe this
warning may result in personal injury or death.
3. Use a digital volt/ohmmeter to measure voltage at the open wire
harness plug for the solenoid. Measure with power off, then on.
Normal indications:
Off = O-10 VAC
On = 160-264 VAC
4. If voltage is correct, replace solenoid.
5. If voltage is incorrect, replace the main control board.
Checking for air leakage from the
air motor
Refer to Figure 6.6.

Replace piston seals.
2 Around the piston shaft. Replace the u-
cup.
3 Between the cylinder cap and the
cylinder, or between the cylinder and
pump mount. Replace the o-rings.
4 Between the actuator assembly and
cylinder. Replace the o-rings.
