Daily Maintenance
1. Clean the exterior surfaces of the applicator and
guns.
2. Check the o-rings and gaskets for leaks.
3. Flush the manifold filter as follows:
a. Reduce the pump air pressure to 0.
b. Place containers under all guns and trigger the
guns to relieve hydraulic pressure.
c. Turn the filter assembly center screw clockwise
to DRAIN.
d. Open the left drain valve over a container by
turning the valve counterclockwise.
e. Increase the pump air pressure until a clean,
steady stream of hot melt material flows from
the drain valve.
f. Close the drain valve.
g. Reduce the pump air pressure to 0.
h. Turn the filter assembly center screw
counterclockwise to RUN and repeat steps 3d
through 3f for the right drain valve.
i. Return the pump air pressure to the normal
operating setting.
