2. Remove the existing lid assembly at the hinges. Leave the folding brace
attached to the melter.
3. Thoroughly clean the top of the tank cover.
4. Place the level probe plate (2) on top of the tank cover.
5. See Figure 7. Install the clamp assemblies as shown. Tighten the set
screws securely.

6. See Figure 6. Install the probe holder (3) using the M5 nuts included in
the ship‐with kit.
7. Install the lid bracket (6) to the hinges as shown with the M6 screws and
nuts from the ship‐with kit.
8. Set the lid assembly (1) onto the melter. Install the M6 screws and
washers from the ship‐with kit through the slotted holes in the rear of the
lid and into the threaded holes in the lid bracket (6). Do not tighten at this
time.
