12. Warranty
Our side-arm ail mowers are tested and inspected according to a strict procedure in our workshops
before delivery. The warranty period is for 1 (one)
YEAR from the date of delivery and only applies to manufacturing or material faults duly veried by our
technicians. It only obliges us to send replacements for the parts accepted as faulty (excluding labour)
and without any indemnity for immobilisation of the machine.
Units or sub-units must be returned to the Service Department. :
Units must be returned complete and not dismantled
within ONE month
following the receipt of the replacement parts for a
WARRANTY CLAIM
Repairs or replacement of parts during the warranty period do not cause the period to be extended
under any circumstances.
12 1Warrantyapplication
The warranty does not cover routine wearing parts such as rotors, rotor bearings, ails, shackles,
rollers, hoses, protection aps, wearing skids etc.
The warranty does not apply if the damage to the part or equipment results from normal wear and
tear, incorrect or insufcient maintenance, negligence by the owner/operator, incorrect use or failure to
observe the operation and maintenance instructions in this manual or that of the tool.
The warranty ceases if the equipment has been modied or repaired by anyone other than our Service
Department operatives.
Any part claimed under warranty must be sent carriage paid to our workshops for inspection. Package,
carriage costs and labour are the customer’s responsibility.
It is the customer’s responsibility to prove that the part is faulty. In the event of a free-of-charge
replacement the faulty part/assembly will become the property of NOREMAT SA.
The warranty is strictly limited to the replacement or repair of a part accepted as faulty by our
technicians, excluding any damages or indemnities for immobilisation of the machine.
JURISDICTION CLAUSE :
For any disagreement or dispute arising between the buyer and NOREMAT relative to the performance
or interpretation of the present warranty contract, the only competent jurisdiction will be that of the
Meurthe and Moselle Department (County), number 54, in which the NOREMAT registered ofce is
located.
