6 For a standalone switch, in the In-Band Switch IP Address field, enter the IP
address of the
switch in dotted-decimal notation.
7 For a stack configuration, in the In-Band Stack IP Address field, enter the
Stack IP address in dotted decimal notation.
Note: The In-Band Switch IP Address field allows this switch to operate
as a standalone switch. However, this field is not required for the operation
of the stack. You cannot enter the same IP address in both fields.
