PANL can link the Passport 4400 to another Passport 4400 or to the Passport
6400. In addition to PANL connections, the Passport 4400 can connect to third
party routers using frame relay PVCs and the RFC 1490 encapsulation
standard.
Network connections can be leased line or over a Public Frame Relay network.
And, the Passport 4400 protects its connections with a variety of backup
services.
