The active subwoofer models L10SUB (10 "-
300 watts RMS) and L15SUB (15" - 600
watts RMS) provide high sound pressure
levels in smallest space. The integrated
class-D amplifiers work highly efficient and
provide a very low weight. Both models are
equipped with a 3-channel DSP which can
be programmed easily and quickly via the
LION PC software. The USB3.0 interface
requires no drivers or additional software
installation. The subwoofer channel of the
DSP sends the signal to the built-in bass
amp. The two additional DSP channels
(LEFT / RIGHT) are routed to XLR
connectors on theconnector panel. Herethe
active fullrange speakers L5A, L10A, L12A
orL15Acan be connected.
The programmable DSP is equipped with 2
input channels and 3 output channels. Each
input and output channel includes, for
example, a programmable crossover, an 8-
band equalizer, a delay and in each output
channel a limiter. The DSP of both
subwoofers models includes a factory
program for universal use as standard. The
active subwoofers are ready to use the first
start-up according to the plug-and-play
principle. The 3-channel DSP, which is
included in the active subwoofers,
transforms the LION fullrange active
speakers L5A, L10A, L12Aand L15Ain ultra-
modern, digitally controlled loudspeaker
systems. This enables a further increase in
performance. The built-in limiters are
optimally adjusted to the LION active
speakers and protect all components from
overload.
All active LION loudspeakers and
subwoofers are equipped with the unique
NOVA UEC concept. Since each speaker
has its own amplifier (decentralized), the
signal can be passed from speaker to
speaker. Only the DSPis centrally integrated
into the subwoofers. An almost unlimited
number of active mid/high speakers can be
connected to the subwoofers. Evencomplex
systems with many speakers can be created
quicklyandeasilywiththe UEC concept.

Die aktiven Subwoofermodelle L10SUB(10"
- 300 Watt RMS) und L15SUB (15" - 600
Watt RMS) liefern hohen Schalldruck auf
kleinstem Raum. Die integrierten Class-D
Verstärker arbeiten hocheffizient und
ermöglichen ein sehr geringes Gewicht.
Beide Modelle sind dazu mit einem 3-Kanal
DSP ausgestattet, der sich bequem und
unkompliziert über die LION PC-Software
programmieren lässt. Das USB3.0 Interface
benötigt keinerlei Treiber oder zusätzliche
Softwareinstallation. Der Subwooferkanal
des DSP leitet das Signal anden integrierten
Bassverstärker weiter. Die beiden
zusätzlichen DSP-Kanäle (LEFT / RIGHT)
werden an XLR-Buchsen am Anschlussfeld
ausgegeben. Hier können die aktiven
Fullrangelautsprecher L5A, L10A, L12A
oderL15Aangeschlossen werden.
Der frei programmierbare DSP ist mit 2
Eingangskanälen und 3 Ausgangskanälen
ausgestattet und übernimmt dabei
zahlreiche Funktionen. JederEingangs- und
Ausgangskanal beinhaltet beispielsweise
eine programmierbare Frequenz-weiche,
einen 8-Band Equalizer, ein Delay sowie in
jedem Ausgangskanal einen Limiter. Der
DSP beider Subwoofer-modelle beinhaltet
schon ab Werk ein universell einsetzbares
Soundpreset. Damit sind die aktiven
Subwoofer nach dem Plug-and-Play Prinzip
schon bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme sofort
einsatzbereit. Der 3-Kanal DSP in den
aktiven Subwoofern verwandelt die LION
Fullrange-Aktivlautsprecher L5A, L10A,
L12A und L15A in hochmoderne, digital
kontrollierte Lautsprechersysteme und
ermöglicht dadurch eine nochmals
gesteigerte Performance. Die im DSP
integrierten Limiter sind optimal aufdie LION
Aktivlautsprecher abgestimmt und schützen
alle Komponenten zuverlässig vor
Überlastung.
Alle Aktivlautsprecher und Subwoofer sind
mit dem neuartigem NOVA UEC-Konzept
ausgestattet. Da jeder Lautsprecher einen
eigenen Verstärker besitzt (dezentral), kann
das Signal jeweils unverstärkt von
Lautsprecher zu Lautsprecher weitergeleitet
werden. Lediglich der DSP ist zentral in den
Subwoofernintegriert.Dadurchkönnenan
den Subwoofern praktisch unbegrenzt viele
Mitten-/Hochtonlautsprecher angeschlos-
sen werden. Selbst komplexe Systeme mit
sehr vielen Lautsprechern können mit dem
UEC-Konzept schnell und problemlos
erstelltwerden.
