GUARANTEE OF SETTOP BOX
We would like to thank you for the purchase you made. We are sure that you will be absolutely satised from your choice to be
connected with our PAY-TV network.
Your digital decoder has undergone all the necessary technical controls. In the event of any failure of the digital decoder,
please contact the Customer Service Department of FORTHNET MEDIA or our Technical Representative nearest your location.
You will nd a valid list of all our Technical Representatives (“Installers”) in the web site of FORTHNET MEDIA, www.nova.gr.
TERMS OF GUARANTEE
1. In the event of any fault, malfunction or failure with reference to the whole or a part of the digital decoder, which has as
a consequence its non suitable operation, FORTHNET MEDIA undertakes at its own expenses its repair or replacement,
when the repair is judged unsuccessful.
2. The guarantee commences from the day of purchase of the digital decoder and is valid for 24months.
3. The guarantee concerns only the digital decoder and not other devices or equipment related to it (TV sets, antennas etc).
In the event that the decoder is connected to a satellite dish and cabling that FORTHNET MEDIA has supplied, then the
guarantee covers this equipment too.
4. The guarantee does not cover damages that are due to misuse or negligence of the subscriber or third parties beyond
the Technical Representative of FORTHNET MEDIA during the operation of the unit or damages that arise from
extraordinary weather phenomena or from phenomena that evolve at the surrounding area (for example, hailstorm,
oods, res etc.) the occurrence of which does not derive from a real defect of the equipment that FORTHNET MEDIA has
supplied or damages that are due to situations of force majeure.
5. The guarantee of the digital decoder does not cover wears or damages that occur during the transfer or transport by
another transporter except for FORTHNET MEDIA.
6. The guarantee ceases to be in eect in the event that the device has been opened or subjected to a repair by a third
party, non-authorized technician other than the authorized Technical Representatives of FORTHNET MEDIA.
7. Any repair does not extend the time of guarantee of the entire equipment. The spare parts that are possible to be used
by FORTHNET MEDIA or by a Technical Representative of its during the equipment’s repair, bear a separate guarantee of
24 months.
8. The work and the spare parts (or a substitute satellite decoder) are provided ENTIRELY FREE OF CHARGE.
9. In the event of an unjustiable call to a Technical Representative, any transport expenses of the latter burden the
subscriber.
10. In each contact with the company, you are kindly requested to report the serial number of your digital decoder.
The as above guarantee covers the Greek Territory.
KEEP THIS GUARANTEE SINCE THE GUARANTEE IS VALID ONLY UPON PRESENTING THIS DOCUMENT.
