9-3 Cleaning and Lubrication
Perform cleaning and lubrication using the manual method.
Manual Method (Cleaning and Lubricating the Interior)
1) Check that the " ● " mark and the "
" mark align.
2) Attach an E-Type Spray Nozzle to the nozzle of the PANA SPRAY Plus.
3) Shake the can 3 or 4 times vigorously, and insert the E-Type spray nozzle into the rear of the handpiece
while holding the head of the handpiece with a cloth etc..
4) Hold the handpiece, and spray for 2 or 3 seconds until oil comes out of the handpiece head (Fig. 17).
Repeat lubrication until foreign material sto
ps coming out of the tip.
CAUTION
• Check that the " ● " and the " " mark of the Bur Lock Ring are aligned. Spraying with the " ● " and the " " aligned will lead to increased pressure of
the spray, which could cause the handpiece to eject from the spray.
• Do not use sprays other than NSK PANA SPRAY Plus. Using sprays other than PANA SPRAY Plus may cause the handpiece to overheat.
• Hold the spray can upright.
• Firmly hold the handpiece to prevent it slipping when spray pressure is applied.
• Spray lubricant until it expels from the hand
piece head.
