4.5. Finishing the Work
1. Open the feedback loop by releasing the button.
2. Retract the sample from the probe as follows:
a. Go to the Approach tab with the button in the Main Operations
panel.
b. Double-click in the Moving input field of the Backward group (Fig. 4-20) on the
Control panel of the
Approach tab to open a slider. Position the slider at the value
of 2÷3 mm.

c. To retract the sample from the probe, click the
button of the
Backward
group (
Fig. 4-21).

3. Switch off the laser.
4. Switch off the SPM controllers.
5. Switch off the spectrometer.
6. Close the Control program.
