3.1 Explanation of terms
The following keywords are used in these
user instructions:
Warning!
High risk: ignoring this warning
could result in a risk to life and
limb.
Caution!
Medium risk: ignoring this warning may
result in damage.
Note:
Low risk: points to be noted when handling
the device.
3.2 General information
• Please read these instructions for use
carefully before using the device. These
instructions form part of the device and
must be kept to hand at all times.
• Use the device and its accessories only
for the proper use described (see
“1.1 Intended use”).
• Do not use any accessory parts that are
not expressly approved for the device.
• Always check for any visible damage
before using the device. If you discover
any damage, do not use the device.
• Changes may only be made to the
device with the consent of the
manufacturer.
• Despite use in accordance with purpose
and careful handling in accordance with
the information in the instructions for
use, it is possible that more than 3 years
after initial use, your Thermometer may
start measuring inaccurately. Faulty
temperature results could lead to
incorrect diagnosis and therefore have
