We recommend that you retain the
packaging of the thermometer so that the
device can be packaged securely for
transport.
If the device is not to be used for an
extended period, we recommend switching
off the device (see “5.10Switching off the
device“ on page39).
Only operate and store the device in
accordance with the conditions specified.
(see “8.Technical data“ on page44).
7. Troubleshooting

Software error Remove the battery, wait
one minute and then replace
the battery (see sect. 6.2). If
the error message appears
again, contact your retailer.
While the symbol is
flashing, a new measurement
cannot be started.
The device is not
yet ready to take

Wait until the symbol has
stopped flashing. When it
has stopped flashing, then
start the new measurement.
