3.3 Special notes for this device
• This device is not designed to be
used by people (including children)
with physical, sensory or mental
disabilities or with insufficient
experience and/or knowledge,
unless a person responsible for
their safety is supervising them or
instructing them on how to use the
device.
• This device can be used by
children aged 11 and up if they
have at least 5 years’ intensive
experience of reading and if they
are under supervision or have been
briefed on the use of the device.
• Always seek the advice of a doctor
in the event of high fever or
ambiguous measurements.
• Do not use any additional probe
covers on the device.
• Clean the device after every use in
order to prevent any reinfection or
infection of other persons.
• The “Surface temperature” setting
cannot be used to measure body
temperatures/fevers.
• Check the function and accuracy
of the device after any heavy
impact (e.g. falling from a height of
more than 1 metre) by taking
several measurements. If you have
any doubts concerning the
measurement results, please
