3 - Remove slack from shoulder straps and waist belt by pulling up on shoulder straps (1).
Pull harness adjustment strap (2) to tighten. Harness should fit snugly on child's shoulders
and thighs; it is snug if you cannot pinch a fold in the strap horizontally.
Fasten and position chest clip (p.22) level with child’s armpits (3).
A snug strap should not allow any slack. It lies in a relatively straight line without
sagging. It does not press on the child's flesh or push the child's body into an unnatural
position.
