Child Usage Requirements

This child restraint can ONLY be installed on vehicle seats that face forward. Check vehicle manual for UAS compatibility.

Car Seat Use After a Crash

Replace car seats after moderate/severe crash. Minor crash criteria: vehicle drivable, no damage, no injuries, no airbag deployment.

Aircraft Installation

Certified for aircraft use in harness mode (forward facing) for children up to 18 kg (40 lbs).

Harness Mode Installation (Forward Facing)

Forward Facing Setup

Remove tether, select recline position, place restraint in vehicle seat, raise headrest, open True Tensionâ„¢ door.

Using Vehicle Lap;Shoulder Belt

Route belt through forward facing path, buckle belt, remove slack, close True Tensionâ„¢ door, lock belt.

Using UAS

WARNING: Do not install for child weighing more than 18 kg (40 lbs). Route UAS belt through forward facing path.

Booster Mode Installation (Without Built-in Harness)

Booster Setup

Store harness. Place restraint forward facing in vehicle seat with lap and shoulder belt. Select recline position, open seat cover.

Using UAS

WARNING: Booster MUST remain secured by UAS even when unoccupied. Route UAS belt through forward facing belt path.

Without UAS

ONLY use if UAS not possible. Booster MUST be secured with vehicle belt when unoccupied. Route vehicle belt forward facing.

Securing Child

In Harness Mode (Forward Facing)

Place child, adjust headrest for harness AT or above shoulders. Remove slack from shoulder straps and waist belt.

Booster Mode (Without Built-in Harness)

Route vehicle belt across chest and through lap belt path. Secure buckle. Route shoulder belt through shoulder belt guide.
