Weight: 5–40 lb (2.3–18 kg)
Height: 43 in. (1100 mm) or less
The infant insert (p.26) is recommended for use with infants who weigh between 5–11 lb
(2.3–5 kg). DO NOT use the insert for a child who weighs more than 11 lb.

American Academy of Pediatrics Recommendation
The AAP recommends children should ride rear facing for as long as possible, until
they reach the maximum weight or height allowed by their seat.
For this seat, that maximum is 40 lb (18 kg) or less than 43 in. (1100 mm)
