Warranty conditions
Axdia International GmbH, Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Straße 36-38,
47877 Willich, Germany, hereinafter referred to as AXDIA, provides
consumers with a limited warranty for ODYS and DYON brand
products, hereinafter referred to as the product, as set forth in the
following warranty terms. Under this warranty, AXDIA warrants that
the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for the specified warranty period from the date of original purchase.
Our products are warranted in accordance with the following terms
and conditions:
1. within 12 months of the date of purchase, we will repair any
damage or defects to the product free of charge in accordance
with the following warranty conditions. In the event of a defect or
fault that is discovered later than 12 months after the date of
purchase, a manufacturing defect must be proven for a warranty
repair.
2. The warranty does not cover rechargeable batteries, batteries,
tires, brake pads and other parts that are consumer goods, easily
breakable parts such as glass or plastic, or defects due to normal
wear and tear. A warranty obligation is not triggered by minor
deviations from the target condition that are insignificant for the
value and usability of the product, by damage from chemical and
electrochemical effects, from water and generally from abnormal
conditions. Damage caused by disregarding the operating
instructions or other improper handling, unauthorized
interventions in the installed system or the installation of
additional software is also excluded.
3. furthermore, the warranty does not extend to the mere
availability of software updates, provided that the intended use
and data security of the product continue to be guaranteed
according to AXDIA's professional and well-founded assessment.
4. the warranty service is provided in such a way that defective
parts are repaired free of charge or replaced with faultless parts
at our discretion. AXDIA reserves the right to exchange the
product for an equivalent replacement device if the product sent
in cannot be repaired within a reasonable time and cost
