-OPERATING MANUAL-
• The CS 200, CS 2000 and CS 5000 only differ in weighing capacity and
readability. Unless otherwise specified, the content of this manual
applies to all three models.
• For best results, use the scale in the specified optimum operating
temperature.
• For best accuracy, perform your mass measurements in clean
environments, free of electrostatic and magnetic fields, dust and dirt,
moisture, vibration and air currents.
• Use your scale with care, gently loading items to be weighed onto the
center of the pan. Avoiding rough treatment will aid in the life of your
compact scale.
• Calibration weights are not provided with the scale.

Power Up Test

Scale displays all segments for 3 seconds before resetting to zero upon power on.

Stable Reading Indication

A star indicator appears in the lower left corner when a stable reading is reached.

Weight Unit Indication

Displays lb oz, oz, or g to indicate the selected weight unit.

Overload

An 'E' appears if the applied load exceeds capacity; remove load to return to normal.

Zero Function

Allows progressive addition of mass by returning the display to zero.

Negative Value

Removed loads display as negative numbers; press On/Off Zero to cancel.

Low Battery Indication

Displays 'Lo' when batteries are weak and require replacement.

Auto Shut-Off

Scale turns off automatically after five minutes of inactivity to save battery.

Two Button Keypad

On/Off Zero

Turns scale on/off and operates the zero feature. Hold for 3 seconds to turn off.

Unit/Cal

Changes weighing units (lb oz, oz, g) or initiates calibration by holding.
