Do you have a question about the Oilon GP-1000 M and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

This document describes the Oilon GP-1000 M - 1200 M series burners, which are automatic forced draught burners suitable for various heating appliances, including warm and hot water boilers, steam boilers, hot air generators, and process heating. They are designed to operate in furnaces with high back pressure.

Function Description:

The Oilon GP-1000 M - 1200 M burners are designed for efficient combustion, primarily using natural gas. They can also be adapted for other gases, provided their composition is known and the burner manufacturer is consulted. The burner control system, specifically the WiseDrive 100/200, handles all operational sequences automatically and includes safety functions to stop the burner in case of failure. The WD200 system allows for O2 module integration to enhance combustion efficiency. The burner control adjusts the fuel and air ratio, as well as solenoid valves, to match capacity demands.

Usage Features:

  • Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR): Optional feature to reduce NOx content by recirculating a proportion of flue gas back into the combustion chamber, lowering flame temperature. The amount of FGR is adjustable via a throttle valve and control panel settings.
  • WiseDrive System: A comprehensive control and safety system that includes burner control, electronic fuel/air ratio, gas valve proving, capacity controller, fan frequency converter control (WD200), residual oxygen control (WD200), boiler cold start thermal shock protection, fuel flow meter (WD200), burner efficiency measuring (WD200), start-up and running time counters, fault and lockout history, real-time clock, and a bus interface.
  • Operating and Display Unit (AZL): Used for monitoring and adjusting settings, with menus available in multiple languages. It has an internal memory backed up by a battery for storing burner control parameters.
  • Servomotors: Drive fuel regulators and other actuating devices, with precise angular adjustment and torque.
  • Frequency Converter (WD200): Controls the fan motor speed to adjust air pressure according to burner capacity. Features include alarm contact for safety stops and control via a 0/4…20 mA signal.
  • O2 Module (WD200): Measures residual oxygen in flue gases to monitor and optimize combustion efficiency. Can be connected with combustion air and flue gas temperature sensors to calculate and display efficiency.
  • Cold Start Thermal Shock Protection: Protects the boiler from thermal stress by starting with a small load and gradually increasing it as the boiler warms up.
  • Boiler Temperature Limiting: Limits boiler temperature using the burner control, either with the main temperature sensor or a separate one.

Maintenance Features:

  • Annual Checks:
    • Burner head extension.
    • Diffuser disc and burner adjustments.
    • Ignition cable condition.
    • Ignition electrodes (cleanliness and position).
