SERVICE DIAGNOSIS
POSSIBLE CAUSE
ENGINE MISFIRES AT HEAVY LOAD
Spark plugs defective.
FaUlty ignition.
Clogged carburetor.
Clogged fuel screen.
Defective spark plug cables.
Replace.
Clean, adjust, or replace breaker
points, plugs, condenser, coil, etc.,
or retime ~gnition.
Clean jets.
Clean.
Replace.
ENGINE MISFIRES AT ALL LOADS
Fouled spark plug.
Defective or wrong spark plug.
Sticking valves.
Broken valve spring.
Defective ignition wires.
Defective or,improperly
adjusted points~
Clean and adjust.
