Getting to Know the CD Player-Continued
The page numbers in parentheses show where you can find the main explanation for each item.
1. [ Í ] button (15)
Press to turn on or standby the C-755.
2. DIMMER button (15)
Press to adjust the display brightness.
3. Pause [ ; ] button (16, 17)
Press to pause playback.
4. RANDOM button (21)
Select the Random playback mode.
5. Play [ 1 ] button (16 – 19, 21, 22)
Press to start playback.
6. [ : ]/[ 9 ] buttons (16, 17, 19, 21)
Press to select the previous or next track.
7. Stop [ ∫ ] button (16, 18, 19, 24)
Press to stop playback.
8. //</> buttons (15, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24)
Press the Arrow buttons to configure various
settings, and then press the ENTER button to
set them.
These buttons can be also used to select a
track.
9. ENTER button (15, 19, 21 – 24)
Press to set a selected preference.
10. SEARCH button (19)
For MP3 CDs, this button is used to search and
select a file number or a folder number.
11. SETUP button (24)
Press to access various settings.
12. Number buttons (17, 19)
Use to enter track numbers.
13. Open/Close [ < ] button (16)
Press to open and close the disc tray.
14. DISPLAY button (17, 20)
Press to change the displayed information.
15. REPEAT button (23)
Select the repeat playback or 1-repeat
playback mode.
16. [ 22 ]/[ 11 ] buttons (17, 21)
Hold down to fast-reverse or fast-forward
during playback.
17. MEMORY button (21, 22)
Select the Memory playback mode.
18. CLEAR button (21)
Use to clear any numbers that have been
entered during numeric input. When making a
memory setting, the selected track is erased.
