Why is there no sound coming from my Onkyo HT-R510?

  There may be several reasons why you are not getting any sound from your Onkyo Receiver speakers. Ensure that the receiver is not muted. Check that all the connections are correct and the speaker cables are properly connected. Make sure the correct input source is selected and that headphones are not connected. Verify the input signal format is set to Auto, the volume is not at minimum, and the speakers are configured correctly. Also, check your connecting cables for any damage and replace them if necessary.

Why is only the center speaker working on my Onkyo receiver?

  If only the center speaker is working on your Onkyo receiver, you may be listening to a mono sound source (e.g., TV or AM broadcast) and the PL II MOVIE or PL II MUSIC listening mode is selected. This concentrates the sound in the center speaker. Try selecting another listening mode.
