To correct the character entered...
After the above Step 2, move to the character you want to correct using
the d and f buttons (the character blinks), and then re-enter the
character you want.
To insert a character...
After the above Step 2, move the blinking cursor using the d and
f buttons to where you want to insert a character, turn the AMCS
knob counterclockwise until
flashes and then press that knob. The
cursor starts blinking, allowing the insertion of a character.
To erase a character...
After the above Step 2, move to the character you want to erase using
the d and f buttons (the cursor blinks) and then press the EDIT/
NO button or the CLEAR button on the remote controller.
Note:
The disc name or track name you entered will be stored when the
EJECT button or STANDBY/ON button is pressed next time. If
is lit or flashing in the display, which indicates that the information is
being stored, do not disconnect the power cord, turn off the main power
or apply strong vibrations to the MD recorder.
Erasing the disc name and all track names at one
time
1. Press the EDIT/NO button to display "Name Erase?".
When the MD recorder is stopped, press the EDIT/NO button
several times until "Name Erase?" appears in the display.
Note:
Once the disc name and all track names are erased, they cannot be
restored.
2. Press the YES button.
All track names and the disc name are erased.
Note:
When "Protected" is shown on the display, it indicates that the
MD's record protect hole is open. Before editing the MD, close the
record protect hole.
If the
indicator is lit or flashing, do not rock the unit or
unplug the power cord.
