3.3.2. OPEX Induct ELC
The OPEX Induct ELC (External Link Component) shown in Figure 3-7, is a
separate application which interfaces between the Sure Sort host application
and the WMS. The Induct ELC also communicates with the optional scanners
(the OPEX tunnel, wand, and fix-mount scanner). The ELC communicates with
the WMS to receive bin destinations. The bin destination is sent to the host,
and the host directs an iBOT to deliver the piece to the desired bin.
