  If your OPTI-UPS does not power up or is always in backup mode, try the following: * Ensure you press the On/Off button long enough until the UPS turns on. * Check the wall socket and test the input line voltage to ensure it is within the acceptable range. * Verify the UPS input power cord is properly plugged in. * Inspect the rear panel circuit breaker. If tripped, reduce the load and reset it.

  If the Battery Fault LED is on for your OPTI-UPS, it means the battery voltage is too low, or the battery is dead. Recharge the battery for more than 8 hours and reset the UPS. If the LED remains lit, replace the battery.

  If your OPTI-UPS UPS's backup time is less than expected, it could be due to the battery not being fully charged or the battery being dead. Recharge the battery for 8 hours and then retest the backup time.
