OPUS CARE & MAINTENANCE cont.
Internal Care for your OP15
All cabinetry in the camper should be kept clean for maximum longevity; stains can be wiped o with a small cloth. A damp
cloth may be all that is required to remove most stains.
Wipe oany spills and water residue on the units as soon as they occur to prevent damage to them or other features of the
camper such as the electrics.
AVOID using abrasives including sponge scourers to clean the units as these may cause scratches and issues with the nish of
the units.
AVOID placing hot objects/containers (cups/saucepans etc.) on the units directly; use a suitable mat/cover to prevent marking
the surfaces of the units.
The cushions in your OPUS® camper are durable and simply require proper care and use.
Clean o stains and dirt on the cushions as soon as they occur; this can easily be done using a damp cloth. Avoid soaking the
cushions or prolonged exposure to water and ensure they are thoroughly dry before packing the camper.
Vacuum the cushions (and the trailer) regularly or as oen as needed depending on level of use. Pay extra aenon to the
trims as these may contain some dirt or undesirable items.
AVOID stepping on the cushions with shoes or placing dirty items on them.
Condensaon is caused by warm, moist air coming into contact with cold surfaces. Moisture can be introduced into your OP15
from the shower, warm bodies breathing out water vapor and perspiring in an enclosed, sealed space. If condensaon is le
unaddressed for long periods it can lead to mold or damp which can be damaging to your health. To avoid this, please ensure
that your OP15 is well venlated, parcularly during the day aer a nights sleep and aer showering.
Before storing your OP15, please use a towel to fully dry the interior shower cubicle and allow adequate venlaon and me
for the tent material, seams and seals to dry to avoid condensaon and mold.
Be sure to check all water pipes, joints and ngs regularly for signs of leaks or seal failure. Water leaks can cause major
damage inside your OP15. This also extends to all exterior joints and pipes.
Fire and Life Safety Devices
Your OP15 is ed with a number of re and life safety devices and comes with manuals and instrucons for operang each
device. These include:
Propane Gas & Carbon Monoxide Alarm—Located in the footwell by the main bed, next to the 120v circuit panel
Smoke Alarm—located on the roof next to the speaker and skylight
Fire Exnguisher—located inside and to the right of the door.
Please read and familiarize yourselves with the proper usage and maintenance of these features before using your trailer as
outlined in their respecve manuals. It is possible that the alarms may sound when using products that give o vapors such as
cleaning uid, aerosols, adhesives etc. or if the sensor is covered by objects.
WARNING! Failure to regularly test and properly maintain these devices may lead to serious injury or death.
The following label has been placed on the interior of the main entry door and reads as follows: Do not ulize this RV unless fully
set up because a secondary means of escape is not available. Can result in death or serious injury.
