SETTING UP YOUR OP15
STEP 1 - Once you have posioned your OPUS® in the desired locaon, engage the e-brake. Try to
choose a site that is as level as possible and where the ground is not too so.
STEP 2 - You can now un-hitch from your tow vehicle if you choose. The lock’n’roll two part hitch can be
disconnected by removing the locking pin and unhooking the two hook plates (see page 10 for more
informaon on your hitch)
STEP 3 - Raise or lower the tongue jack wheel to level your OPUS® Horizontally.
STEP 4 - To drop down the corner steadies, pull the blue handle outwards unl the leg drops down to a
90 degree angle from the trailer. Using the included corner steady winder (or cordless drill/driver with a
3/4'' Hex socket aachment) wind down each corner steady leg unl it touches the ground. Depending
on the terrain, you may need to adjust each corner to level the OPUS® width ways. Tip!
It may help to li the weight of the leg when pulling out the blue handle. NEVER li the OPUS completely o the ground using just
the corner steadies.
STEP 5 - Disconnect the four roof securing latches; Use your thumb to push in the release pin (see 5b & 5c below) then li the
handle to release the latch from the hook completely.
STEP 6 - At the back of the OP15 un-screw the black spare re securing bolts unl they can be removed from the hole completely.
STEP 7 - Next, disconnect the spare re securing latches using the red lever handle. Fold the handles and triangle pin downwards
so they are out of the way of the rear panel. Carefully fold down the spare re bracket; the arm is gas-strut assisted to help with
the weight. Fold the bracket down as far as it will go.
