Winterizing your baeries/ long periods of storage
We have specd the Opus so you have the ability to leave your Opus plugged in without the need to remove the 30ah cable. We
have done this because the CO Alarm is hard wired to your baeries and therefore your baeries will supply a constant current to
this appliance. In order to prevent your baeries from being completely depleted over long periods of storage
1. Completely charge the baery before storage
2. Store the baery in a cool, dry locaon. Heat is a baery killer. Do not forget to completely remove all loads from the
baery (turn o your baery disconnect or remove the connecon to your baery post).
3. Monitor the specic gravity or voltage. Once below 70% charge, give it a boost charge.
4. Completely recharge the baery before pung back in service. 5. Equalize the baery before pung back in service.
Following the above would mean that you need to disconnect the baeries enrely from your system, this would result in the Air
Compressor not operang aer winter storage; you would therefore need to manually inate the tent for your rst use.
Our advice for simplicity of use would be to leave the camper plugged in, NOCO adverses that this is acceptable pracce. If you
want to be defensive over the longevity of your baeries then please remove them enrely from your Opus and store safely, then
inate the tent using the manual pump supplied for rst use.
Return to the Road
Ensure that your camper and accessories are t for the road and you adhere to all local laws.
Check the wheels and res and ensure they are in good condion with the bolts correctly torqued.

Check the lights and ngs and ensure they are funconing correctly.

The chassis/running gear and the gas installaon of your OP15 camper should be checked on an annual basis by a qualied
service center.

Sanize your potable water tank and add a treatment to the grey and black tanks as required.
