Storage and disposal of unnecessary
equipment
STORAGE
Long-term storage:
If you will not be using the device for a long time (more than a few weeks), it is
advisable to clean it and dry it completely.
Follow these steps to store your device:
1 Press STAND-BY to turn off the unit and unplug it.
2 Pour water out of the tank.
3 Clean the fi lter and let it dry completely in a shady place.
4 Place the power cord in the tank.
5 Insert the fi lter in its place.
6 The device must be in a vertical (standing) position during storage.
7 Store the device in a well-ventilated, dry place and a safe place indoors, in a
non-corrosive environment.
WARNING!
The evaporator inside the unit must be dried before storing the unit to prevent
damage and mold. After unplugging the device, place it in a dry place for a few
days to dry it.
The way to dry the evaporator is to set the humidity to more than 5% higher than
the ambient humidity so that the fan is forced to dry the evaporator for several
hours.
DISPOSAL
The device must not be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a
collection center for the recycling and disposal of electrical waste
and electronic devices.
CAUTION !!!
It is strictly forbidden to release refrigerant from unnecessary equipment into the
air!
