5, How to Operate
1) How to start and stop the engine
(Please refer to the engine use manual)
■How to start the engine
●
DO NOT start the engine in a confined space or in an area with insufficient ventilation.
Engine exhaust is odorless and contains carbon monoxide which can cause death.
Make sure that the drive clutch lever and blade clutch lever are released [OFF].

Please warm up the eingine for approximately 2 minutes with throttle in [ (LOW)] position.

Grip the starter knob, pull slowly until you feel
tension and then pull strongly from this position.
Immediately after the engine has started, slowly
return the start knob to its original position.

30 seconds after the engine starts, move
the throttle lever to [HI] position when
mowing, or [LOW] position when idle.
Push the throttle lever all the way forward
to set to the choke position.
When the engine has finished warming up,
shift to the full throttle HI position

Shift the fuel valve to the [ON] position.
