■Operating the controls for mowing
Please read the safety guidelines again (pps. 4-10) and check the precautions related to your work
environment and safety.
●
When using the machine for the first time, choose a flat area free from rocks and foreign
objects and slowly cut a path by going over the area in a straight line.
●
If the engine stops dues to a large quantity of grass, reduce your work speed and increase the
cutting height before mowing for a second time.
●
If debris is frequently thrown from the blade cover, raise cutting height.
●
Start in speed 1 and then work at a speed suited for your surroundings after checking
that the area around you is safe.
●
Always be sure to release the blade clutch [OFF] when turning. Not doing so may cause
injuries or accidents.
●
DO NOT try to change speeds with the drive clutch lever [ON] as this can cause injuries
and accidents.

Start the engine, then slide the throttle lever
to the [HI] position.
Choose your desired speed
GR537Pro: 3 speeds.
GRH537Pro: Vary the speed by sliding
the speed change lever forward.
Press the Blade Safety Lock forward and
hold, then pull back the Blade Control Lever.
Caution: Blade rotation will start
immediately.

Push the Drive Clutch Lever forward and
then hold it to the handle.The machine
will start driving.
