      Sparking or popping noises in your Oreck Air Cleaner can occur when dust particles build up in the Truman Cell™. Gently wipe the cell wires with a dry cotton swab, or clean the entire cell with Assail-a-Cell or soapy water. If excessive arcing continues after cleaning, the cell may be damaged or wet; if damaged contact Oreck for service.

      If your Oreck Air Cleaner doesn't turn on: 1. Ensure the power cord is properly plugged in. 2. Set the power button to your desired blower speed. 3. Reinsert the front grill, sliding it to the right until it locks into place. 4. Make sure the top cover is replaced and slid back to lock.

If you have already cleaned it, allow it to air dry longer. If the problem persists, contact Oreck for service, as the Truman Cell™ may be damaged.

      The 'Check Odor Absorber' light turns red on your Oreck Air Cleaner when the odor absorber needs attention. Hold down the Night Light button until the light blinks three times to reset the Check Odor Absorber timer after replacing the odor absorber. If you don't want to replace it, remove the old odor absorber to turn off the light.
