Group Calling
The Group Calling function allows you to transmit an “ALERT” tone to all
members of a group at the same time.
To setup Group Calling you must arrange your group ID codes in a certain
format.
Example:
If one group consists of 8 vehicles the Group ID codes are arranged as follows:

To call the group, program the Base radio Group ID code to 1234A. When you
call the group, all of the above vehicles will receive the Group Calling Tone. Group
call IDs can be stored in memory the same way as a Standard Selcall ID code,
please refer to Entering, Editing and Storing a Selcall ID number at page 14.
